Deans Court is a private, family run estate with a rich history reaching back 1,300 years. Our country weddings are set in our romantic, semi-wild gardens and our wedding marquee looks over our ancient lake, where monks used to fish 1,000 years ago. Today, our house and grounds retain a dreamy, rural atmosphere despite being only a stone’s throw from the centre of the pretty market town of Wimborne, with its famous Minster and plenty of guest accommodation.
Our venue fee is virtually all-inclusive, and covers everything you need to hold a Country Wedding in a marquee, apart from the food and drink. One of our main strengths lies in the fact that we can organise everything for you – including flowers grown in our cutting garden and on site accommodation for the Wedding party (up to 12 people in our Cottages, and further 14 in our Gate House).
As Deans Court is a private family home you can rest assured that the venue is yours exclusively for your day. Every wedding here is unique because it is designed by the Bride & Groom, with the help of our events team. We’re excited to announce that we have been granted an official wedding license and in 2019 couples will be able to get legally married at Deans Court for the first time. Couples can choose from a ceremony outside in our grounds or in the house, in our dining room or great hall. To celebrate our wedding license we’re offering to pay the registrars fee for any couple that gets legally married at Deans Court during our 2019 season.
