We are giving brides and grooms the opportunity come down to the farm and experience all that a wedding at River Cottage has to offer! All ticket proceeds will go towards HALFF, a local charity that delivers cookery sessions for disadvantaged children, individuals and families as well as older people with heart disease or diabetes. You can find more information about the charity here. The experienced team at River Cottage will be on hand to show couples around the venue and provide more information on what we can offer. Your event, Saturday 21st April 12.00 - 15.00 Arrive at River Cottage The experience begins with a short tractor and trailer ride down to the farm with breath-taking views across the valley where you will be greeted with a glass of bubbles. Explore the farm You will then get the opportunity to explore the organic smallholding including our Kitchen Garden, the famous Farmhouse, Threshing Barn, alfresco Decking and cosy Mongolian Yurt. Meet local wedding suppliers There will be lots of lovely local suppliers to speak to so even if you’ve already booked your venue this is a great opportunity to browse expert suppliers who can add those special touches to your big day! The venue will be styled and set-up for a wedding with a little help from our local suppliers to give brides and grooms the full experience. Food Food is at the heart of what we do and it wouldn’t be a trip to River Cottage without a few tasty treats. Our chefs will be talking to guests throughout the day on creating your perfect wedding menu featuring local, seasonal and organic produce. Visitors will get the chance to ask questions and of course sample some delicious tasters! Drinks Our licensed bar will be open throughout the day which offers locally made specialities and a selection of organic and biodynamic wines, beers, ciders and soft drinks. Or escape to our cosy Mongolian Yurt where there will be teas, coffees and sweet treats waiting for you!
