Housed within a lovingly restored former silk mill, this characterful venue combines historic charm with a light-filled gallery, flexible outdoor spaces and a relaxed, blank-canvas approach.
 

The venue gives couples the freedom to create a celebration that reflects their personalities, with flexibility over catering, décor, entertainment and how the space is used. The gallery can accommodate up to 100 seated guests or up to 200 guests without furniture, while the outdoor areas are also licensed for wedding ceremonies.
 

With its beautiful natural light, exposed beams, south-west-facing courtyard and distinctive character, Silk Mill Studios provides a memorable backdrop for ceremonies, receptions and celebrations. Couples can also make use of the fully equipped kitchen, bar, festoon lighting, bunting, fire pit and extensive tables and seating, with plenty of opportunity to bring in additional suppliers and personal touches.
 

The venue is available for exclusive use over a four-day period from Thursday through to Monday morning, giving couples plenty of time to set up, celebrate and clear away without the pressure of a traditional one-day hire. Located close to St John's Church in central Frome, it also offers the option of combining a more traditional church ceremony with a celebration at the Silk Mill.
