One of the most iconic and unique wedding venues in the country, the Roman Baths and Pump Room is perfect for ceremonies and receptions.

Whether you would like an intimate wedding for two, or a much larger ceremony, a Sunrise or Sunset Wedding will provide a truly romantic start to your married life.  With unprecedented photo opportunities, this stunning location will amaze your guests.

Sunrise ceremonies take place around the torch-lit and steaming waters of the Great Bath at 8.30am. The ceremony can be followed by a delicious breakfast in either the Pump Room Restaurant, or across the Abbey Churchyard at the Roman Baths Kitchen. Sunset ceremonies take place at 7:30pm at the water's edge and can be followed by drinks around the Roman ruins before moving upstairs for dinner and dancing. The pretty Terrace and Reception Hall are perfect for up to 80 guests, or for larger numbers, you could choose a dinner dance in the spectacular Pump Room with its glittering chandelier and historic spa fountain.  There is also the option to book the entire venue on an exclusive hire basis.

If you plan to hold your ceremony in another venue, the Roman Baths, Pump Room and Terrace are also available for evening wedding receptions. 

For smaller parties who require a daytime wedding, we can accommodate ceremonies for up to 40 guests in the Kingston Room which can be followed with drinks or afternoon tea in the adjacent Drawing Room. Both of these rooms have close views of the Abbey and the wedding couple can enjoy photographs around the Great Bath.
