HATCH HOUSE

Wiltshire

Hatch House has the luxury of being licensed to hold wedding ceremonies not only in the dining room and porch, but also in the pavilion on the second tier of the walled Dutch garden. If it is an ‘outdoor’ ceremony you are looking for, you won’t find a more idyllic spot in Wiltshire or the South West.

With the option to cover guests not only on the top tier but also to cover further seating on the lawn below, you will find Hatch House is a beautiful country house and garden venue with a romantic setting for any wedding ceremony or celebration.

Hatch House is the family home of Sir Henry and Lady Rumbold and it’s set in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside with incredible views across the Vale of Wardour. It provides the perfect setting for a secluded country wedding, whatever the style.

Armorial gates at the top of the main drive lead in to a lofty avenue, which sweeps down to the house and garden. It’s the perfect way to arrive at Hatch where everyone is tucked out of sight in this incredibly private and romantic setting. The house’s theatrical façade faces the exquisite 17th Century walled Dutch garden, which has two tiers of lawn framed by herbaceous borders. Lady Rumbold has always regarded the Dutch Garden as “the best room in the House.”

The Rumbolds enjoy sharing their spectacular house and garden for weddings and other events.
