Captivating, romantic and altogether enchanting. Exclusively yours, nestled against the foot of the Mendip Hills, Coombe Lodge is a unique and majestic venue. Set amid 15 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens with breath taking views across the Chew Valley. Coombe Lodge is conveniently located only a few miles from Bristol and Bath.

Coombe Lodge, originally built in the 1920’s, has been lovingly restored into a wonderful contemporary venue, whilst retaining the elegance of its past. With its distinctive limed oak panelling and arched headed French doors alongside its striking atmospheric lighting, the house has been sensitively transformed into the beautiful venue it is today.

Hold your ceremony in one of our chandelier-lit rooms or choose an outdoor ceremony under the picturesque stone archway. You can then enjoy reception drinks and some delicious canapés, before being invited into our striking Music room, which seats 50-160 guests, for a lavish wedding breakfast whilst enjoying the spectacular panoramic views of Blagdon Lake and the Somerset countryside.

Coombe Lodge also offers twelve elegant rooms for an exclusive overnight stay for you and your closest friends and family. It’s quite simple, Coombe Lodge is exclusively yours. For any occasion we  understand what it takes to host the perfect event – a total commitment to you. From our in house team of expert chefs who delight in creating incredible dishes with locally sourced produce, to our dedicated team of Event Managers who will ensure your special day runs smoothly and is both relaxing and memorable for yourself and your guests.
