“I know everyone says it's the best day of their lives, but it was and this is down to the beautiful venue, amazing staff and perfect food. You don't deliver a wedding; you deliver an experience of a lifetime!" Gemma Davidson

With stunning crystal chandeliers and impressive architecture, the Assembly Rooms have everything necessary for a stylish city wedding. At the social heart of the city since the eighteenth century, these four interconnecting rooms today offer flexible and versatile space for weddings with 50-300 guests.

All the rooms are entered via a grand foyer, its red carpeted aisle making a fitting entrance for any bride. Guests can then move seamlessly from room to room throughout the day. For weddings of up to 120 guests, the Great Octagon and Tea Room make an excellent pairing.

The Great Octagon features four original marble fireplaces and the largest chandelier in the collection. The Tea Room with its stunning double columned balcony, original fireplaces and three stunning chandeliers makes the perfect backdrop for seated receptions of up to 120 guests. It is also an elegant option for ceremonies of up to 250 guests.

For larger groups, the Ball Room, with its intricate plasterwork, five chandeliers and stunning balcony is the largest eighteenth century room in Bath and can accommodate up to 500 guests for a truly spectacular ceremony. It is also suitable for a wedding reception for up 280 guests.

In addition to these rooms, the Card Room can be used as a bar and, with access to a small formal garden, it is a lovely choice for summer drinks.

The Fashion Museum, based on the lower ground floor, can make an inspiring venue for a drinks reception and is available from 6.30pm.
